Mary's Journey
Mary has lived with disability for over 20 years, navigating a world not built for her needs. She requires walking crutches, a wheelchair, and special orthopedic shoes just to move through her day.
When her mother—her primary caregiver—passed away in 2019, Mary's world changed overnight. The COVID-19 pandemic forced her to leave the capital city to be closer to her daughter Lydia, who also lives with severe disabilities.
Mary faces a land dispute simply because she's seen as "lesser" in her community. Her damaged home needs urgent repairs, and she dreams of starting a small business to support her family with dignity.
